Pilot Projects

Hello everyone and we're at the end of February and summer will draw to a close. Or on the northern hemisphere, winter will end. That aside, I might show this. What you're seeing here is the head of a Styracosaurus made out of cardboard pieces. And why did I tackle this project? Back in May last year, SECAN who are the local arts hub situated in the outer south east of Melbourne have the routine to bring up words for each month until December and our objectives for us members is to create a piece of art to match the words. This one is based on 3d paper. Earlier, I hadn't had any ideas until I came up with a completely new idea cutting cardboard pieces into 3 dimensional models but it's been a decent task (includes measuring to create dimensions, cutting and creating tabs in order to attach pieces, creating templates and analysing the finished product). Firstly, I'm carrying on with my artistic movement. Towards the end of last year, I have managed to finish this little tribute painting of the late rapper Fatman Scoop. For 2 y...

A Second Round of Art Exhibitions

Hello again and believe it or not, we're approaching the end of the year of 2025. On my end, many things happened even when it's tough and good but overall, it's been a better year than previously. And still, my journey to become a legitimate artist persists. Let's start off in February. In February, SECAN kicked off this year with their first Affordable Arts exhibition. The whole idea is members such as myself exhibit our artworks we can sell with the maximum price of $100 AUD. There, I have displayed my drawing titled An Aussie Dimetrodon and my old Bored Face painting. But sadly, none were sold. Regarding An Aussie Dimetrodon, this spurred my unique subject matter. That happened earlier as we're under the course of winter, I see people complaining about cold and miserable weather being winter. With the idea of featuring a Dimetrodon, I know for the fact they're prehistoric reptiles before the age of dinosaurs and being reptiles meant they're cold-blooded ...
